Building More Cohesive Online Communities
Scenario
Waverly, a new social media platform co-founded by Philippe Beaudoin, sought to disrupt traditional social networks by empowering users to customize their community algorithms for deeper, more empathetic conversations. Pragmatics was asked to work as an extension of the Waverly team, providing fresh perspectives to help rethink online communities.
Outcome
We designed AI-powered interfaces that keep conversations alive while keeping control in the hands of users, along with real-time moderation feedback. Waverly is now live, and we're iterating based on early feedback to scale this alternative social media platform.
How We Build User-Focused AI Experiences
- Respecting User Context: We base AI design on real user needs and contextual research, ensuring the AI adapts to the way people actually work and interact, not just theoretical scenarios.
- Iterative Prototyping: We prototype and refine AI interactions through continuous testing cycles, ensuring the AI functions smoothly and adapts to real-world use cases.
- Collaborative Integration: We work closely with your entire team and stakeholders, providing education and insights on AI to ensure everyone understands the technology and its capabilities, fostering informed decision-making and smoother adoption.
