Case

We worked with Hydro Quebec’s Digital Technology Group during 2023 to introduce a design system and operations for their over 800 internal applications. The design system would enable closer collaboration between the functional analysts and the developers. The goal was to speed up software innovation and improve user experience of systems critical for maintaining Quebec’s electric grid.

Our work included conducting stakeholder analysis through qualitative interviews, industry benchmarking, heuristic analysis of their existing applications, and educational sessions to train staff on design operations.

We are very proud to have been a part of initiating this digital transformation. Our process was piloted in 3 of their projects. These became case studies used internally to champion the planned transformation for over 20,000 staff at Hydro Quebec.

Due to the sensitive nature of working on critical infrastructure, we are currently unable to publish the work we did for them.
